Garlic clove
1, 14.28 oz can
Carmelina Brands® Italian Garbanzos, drained
1, 14.28 oz can
Carmelina Brands® Italian Cannellini Beans, drained
1/4 cup
Tahini
1/4 cup
Water
2 tablespoons
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon
Tamari (or substitute with low-sodium soy sauce)
1/2 teaspoon
Ground cumin
1 teaspoon (or to taste)
Ground coriander
To taste
Cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons
Italian parsley, finely chopped
1 to 2 of each
Sliced vegetables (carrots, zucchini, tomatoes, celery, broccoli, radishes, etc.), washed and sliced for dipping

Procedure:  Place garlic in a food processor; add Carmelina Brands® Italian Garbanzos, Carmelina Brands® Italian Cannellini Beans, tahini, water, lemon juice, tamari, cumin, coriander, and a pinch of cayenne pepper (depending on how spicy you like it).  Puree until smooth and creamy. Stir in parsley.  Place in a small serving bowl and enjoy with sliced vegetables.

Tip: If you do not have a food processor, this recipe can also be prepared in a blender. This recipe makes a delicious sandwich spread. Try it on whole grain wheat with your favorite cheese, sprouts and avocado.
